I'm a writer, photographer, and professional filmmaker intrigued by how light and shadow illuminates beauty and truth ૐ

As a filmmaker, I am responsible for creating the award-winning short films THE STREET CLEANER, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and ANTIGONE’S SONG that have played at film festivals world-wide. I direct, produce, and manages locations for film and television, including the Emmy-Nominated HULU television series THE ACT, and the 2020 NBC television series COUNCIL OF DADS. I am Location Manager for the acclaimed feature film THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON, for which my team and I were nominated this year for "Outstanding Locations In A Contemporary Film" by the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI), an award that is best described as the Oscar for film locations. I also managed locations for director Barry Levinson’s latest film, HARRY HAFT, and before that CHRISTINE, LIZZIE, THE DO-OVER, MAGIC MIKE XXL, DAISY WINTERS, and ABRAHAM LINCOLN vs ZOMBIES. Through our company Savannah Location Services, my filmmaking partner Anthony Paderewski and I offer productions the most experienced location specialists in the coastal Southeast, as well as rent quality location rental gear to outfit any project. I work most often in Georgia, and have enjoyed watching film and television production grow around me into what it is today. Born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I live in Savannah with my wife Sarah and children Finn and Talon. Telling important stories, and nurturing an idea from concept to completed vision, is my passion.

In the film business since 2006, the other projects I've collaborated on include the feature films CRACKERJACK, UNTOUCHED, BREAKING AT THE EDGE, FOUR SENSES, SUMMER GOLD, PALMER, KILLERMAN, LIVE BY NIGHT; the television shows RUBY and Tyler Perry's THE HAVE AND THE HAVE NOTS; and a variety of music videos and commercials that continually seek out Savannah and the surrounding southeast of Georgia for its beauty and character.

When working as a Location Manager, I have a knack for finding the perfect setting that matches the creative spirit and idea you are pursuing. I research, scout, and photograph, doing the legwork of evaluation, before showing my clients the properties that fit best. And I don't just find Locations, I manage them. Local property owners know me well. Federal, State, county, and city officials trust and respect me. My expertise in finding, negotiating the use of a property, permitting, setting up and managing during filming the perfect location(s) for any production is why my projects succeed.
